Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to chart commissions and investor relations data storytelling services provided by Dogwood Way Analytics. By confirming a quote, you agree to these terms alongside our Terms of Service.

1. Deposit structure

Commissions require a 40% deposit upon quote acceptance. The remaining 60% is due upon final file delivery. Deposits confirm your place in our production schedule and cover initial source audit and storyboard work.

2. Cancellation by client

Before work begins

If you cancel after paying the deposit but before we commence the source audit (typically within two business days of confirmation), the full deposit is refunded minus a KRW 150,000 administrative fee.

After work begins

Once the source audit or storyboard draft has been delivered, the deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel mid-commission, you owe fees for work completed to date, calculated at the quoted rate pro rata, less the deposit already paid.

3. Cancellation by Dogwood Way Analytics

We may cancel a commission if source data cannot be verified, deadlines cannot be met without compromising quality, or confidentiality requirements cannot be satisfied. In such cases, we refund any deposit paid and provide written explanation. We are not liable for consequential costs arising from cancellation.

4. Full refund eligibility

A full refund of all fees paid (deposit and balance) is available only if we fail to deliver any draft within the agreed timeline by more than five business days without a mutually agreed extension, and you choose to cancel rather than accept a revised delivery date.

5. Partial refunds

Partial refunds may apply when: delivered chart count falls materially below quoted scope through our fault (not due to missing client data); or a commissioned deliverable is unusable due to a technical file error we introduced. Partial refunds are calculated as the pro rata value of undelivered or defective deliverables.

6. Non-refundable items

• Completed source audit memos and storyboard drafts
• Revision rounds already performed
• Rush delivery surcharges once production has started
• On-site working session fees after the session has occurred
• Third-party font or image licence fees we procured on your behalf

7. Refund process

Submit refund requests to info@sitedogwoodway.click with your commission reference, quote date, and reason. We acknowledge within two business days and decide within ten business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen business days.

8. Rescheduling

Disclosure deadline changes requested more than five business days before the scheduled delivery date incur no fee if our schedule permits the shift. Changes requested with less notice may incur a rescheduling fee of KRW 300,000 or require rush pricing for the new deadline.

9. No-shows and non-response

If you fail to provide required source data, brand assets, or legal-approved language for more than ten business days after requested, we may pause the commission. Paused commissions held longer than thirty days may be closed with the deposit applied to work completed. We will attempt contact before closing.

10. Work already started

Chart production files created during an active commission remain our property until full payment is received. If a commission is cancelled after production begins, you may purchase completed drafts at the pro rata rate rather than requesting a refund of work already performed.

11. Purchased materials

If we procure stock imagery or font licences specifically for your commission, those costs are non-refundable once licences are activated, even if the commission is cancelled.

12. Exceptions

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under Korean consumer protection law where applicable. Business clients engaging us under B2B quotes may have different mandatory rights; contact us to discuss.
